I’ll continue working with community and industry partners to ensure new development strengthens our neighborhoods, improves transportation, and builds a stronger Longmont for all.

I’m honored to be endorsed by the Sierra Club for my commitment to protecting Longmont’s natural spaces, promoting clean air and water, and building a more sustainable, climate-resilient community. I will work to ensure that Longmont grows responsibly—preserving open spaces, investing in renewable energy, and championing policies that keep our city healthy and thriving for generations to come.

I’ve know Alex for many years. He is a committed, focused and passionate community member. I’ve also had the opportunity to personally discuss some of his creative and pragmatic perspectives on managing Longmont’s growth, developing a more effecient and safe infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians and other dynamic improvements for the city. I can also attest to Alex’s proactive nature, kindness, and humanistic practices as a parent and neighbor. It’s evident through our discussions over the years, that Alex truly cares about our city. Alex would be a great addition to Longmont’s city counsel. He has the intelligence, drive, and collaborative approach to get important community-oriented litigation passed and help Longmont reach it’s greatest potential. I endorse Alex for city counsel with enthusiasm and no reservations.

I wholeheartedly endorse Alex not only for his leadership, vision, and passion to making Longmont a place where everyone can thrive but also because Alex is simply a great human and neighbor. He’s the kind of person who would help you pick up trash after a party, offer a hand with work around your house, and generously share bagels with you and your extended family—without expecting anything in return. His passion for building community and his willingness to roll up his sleeves for the people around him make him exactly the kind of leader Longmont needs and that you can trust.
